Have a good thought for dd Sun. She is showing her Aussie at a genuine, real-life, AKC show this Sun. It will be their first "real" show.

As a fellow shower, I am wishing her luck! Gypsy came home with two first and two reserves last weekend (VERY hard eanred, I might add). I hope she's in the ribbons!:paw:

Oh, Lori, Way to go!!! She is pretty nervous. She is showing in Jr. Showmanship and confirmation. I am taking her to the B match tonight for the practice.

Well....(jumping up and down)...how did it go? I am hoping for blues!

Well, no blues. Jr. Showmanship was 8AM and Fancy just wasn't quite ready. She stuck her head between Nicole's legs on the first run, she went off course, she wasn't on her game. Therefore, 3rd place, (still a ribbon for first show, not too bad).
Confirmation went a little better, 3rd out of 5.
We are worried about Fancy's coat, too much of the red undercoat shows through the black. Our breeder is going to show Nicole how to thin that undercoat out. That may help.
Anyway she got a couple ribbons and some more experience. She was not at all disappointed.
