View Full Version : What are you buying off Ebay??
crdurham 04-02-2003, 01:22 PM There is so much stuff to buy on ebay, it totally amazes me what people buy. I think its neat to see what all people are buying. I have bought scrubs for work, a dress, some antique glasses for my sister, and coupons. I do more selling than buying which is probably a good thing.....lol....
What are some of the stuff you have bought from ebay? What was your best deal??
aylasmommy 04-02-2003, 03:03 PM I have bought:
Crib set
Clothes(mainly shirts for myself)
there might be more but that's mainly it for me.

Katybird 04-02-2003, 05:15 PM I have bought books off of eBay. I have gotten old books that I could not find anywhere else. My favorite is the book "Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House" which is the novel the movie was based on, (it is an old movie-circa 1948). I have also ordered some quilt books from there.
seadream 04-02-2003, 05:15 PM I mostly buy stuff for the house. I decorate primitive country and have gotten some stuff at pretty good prices compared to what the country decorating stores want.
My best deal was an old wooden ironing board for $20.00 (thats including shipping)
My latest wins include a nice country picture for $15.50 (22" x 12")
and a birdhouse address plague for the front of my house..really cool (birdhouse w/ tiles that have the numbers 40 and also a tile with the flag on it above the numbers that I can hang on the front of my house)
I'm addicted to ebay:( I really need to start selling on there again

4, I said 4..... sewing machines off ebay...I think I am becoming a collector!! So that brings me up to a total of 7.... I am giving one to my Dniece for her birthday. I have also bought machine accessories too. I have bought sewing room theme fabric and books too.
I bought a corning or pyrex baking tube to make bread in. I use it to make round cinnamon bread. They stopped making these a while ago so you cannot buy them in the stores.
DH bought a SNOWMOBILE!! It was a vintage (read older 70's model). I think that was the best deal.
I did go to a thrift store a couple of week ago and bought a Singer tin box for $5.00, I saw it sell on ebay for $41.00!! I have never sold on ebay, but I am considering selling that tin!!

Basically on-line I come here and eBay and that's about it. Once I was on-line for 21 hours straight  So that says something (something awful LOL)
I've lost count of the things I've bought! Clothes, Books, Craft items, Shoes, Bed covers, two Cars! the list goes on and on.
Yep I'm addicted ;)
