View Full Version : Daddy's surprise for Tyler... ADDED a better picture
Mommy2Tyler 04-15-2003, 09:21 AM Dave brought Tyler a surprise when he came home last night. ;)
His parents' neighbor was trying to get rid of kittens so hr got one for Tyler. Its so cute and playful. Its about 6-8 weeks old.
Here it is not wanting to be held.
I'll try to get a better picture of it later... it doesn't sit still long.

PennyPinchinPam 04-15-2003, 06:41 PM How cute! Meow is a perfect name for him. Do you know if it's male or female yet?
Mommy2Tyler 04-15-2003, 07:04 PM Not yet, Pam. I never can tell in cats, but Dave and his sister are good at it and they couldn't tell yet.
I don't think it's very old. It is just weaned, but I'm not sure if it was ready to wean. We can't get it to drink milk here so I been doing it with a dropper. It is eating the kitten food good though.
simplemom 04-15-2003, 07:51 PM He is so cute!:catfly:

dz_blonde_girl 04-16-2003, 08:55 AM Very cute. I'll bet Tyler is thrilled. BTW All 3 colored cats are female. Otherwise girl kitties have a ; where as boy kitties a : :)
Mommy2Tyler 04-16-2003, 10:23 AM Really?? All 3 colored kitties are female? I never heard that! If that's true this is a female then.
MJsLady 04-16-2003, 10:41 AM Yep Sherry, there was 1 site online that said fewer than 1 in 200 calicos (3 colored cats) are male. Some vets swear its not possible.

I agree, most calico's are female. I was also told all polydactal (multi toed) cats were definately male. Well Ralphie's mom has 6 toes on each front foot! Go figure! :D
Mommy2Tyler 04-16-2003, 05:50 PM Well...ya learn something new everyday!!
Michelle 04-17-2003, 09:14 AM How cute :)
