Oven "Fried" Chicken Recipe
1 envelope Lipton Golden Onion Soup mix
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
3 pounds chicken pieces
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Combine onion soup mix with flour; set aside. Beat eggs with buttermilk. Dip chicken pieces in buttermilk mixture, then in flour mixture; coat well.
Place chicken in a large shallow baking pan and chill for 30 minutes. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake for 45 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
Serves 4 to 6.
