Well I went to my craft fair today and it was outside and REALLY hot!

I even took a proud photo of my stall to show you all once I'd made my millions.

Hardly any sellers (I spoke to them) sold anything all day! :( Despite the fact that there were lots of people there?

So all in all I made back my stall money and that was about it.

So why am I telling you this in this forum??? Because I thought I should update you on my craft fair after all your support AND because I met my animal rescue lady there showing rescued animals.

So being a sucker for rescue pets and ONLY having a dog, 4 rats and 2 chipmunks, I thought it only right to bring home a rabbit!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL.

DH is :mad: *hehe* AND the rabbit has sadly bitten me already and tried to bite me 5 more times!!!!! Having small children here, she sadly has to be returned tomorrow but as I have now given her a home I am actually swopping her for a younger animal that hopefully won't bite.

So summing up ~ I made no money but gained ANOTHER pet ~ ROFL!

My dh has a rabbit. his name is Mr.Tiddlywinks. He's pretty cute so I understand Bev, but where is the picture of your stal??

Well, at least you made your money for your stall back, I have been in sales where I didnt even do that!

Seems like you did pretty well on ebay, maybe you can seel the stuff there!

Oh yes lol ~ I wasn't quite so proud after I didn't make any money so I forgot! :D

I have done really well on eBay but not with cards ~ they don't seem to sell for some reason??? I haven't tried any of mine but I've watched other peoples.

I'm thinking of trying out our local street market ~ but it's more expensive and I'm wondering now if they just won't sell ~ Although that's my natural pessimistic side as this was only my first market LOL.

Anyway here is my now 'sad' stall lol

LOL ~ No the hat stayed at home! :D :D ~ I assured her that she could wear a 'different' hat and 'her' hat didn't like the really hot weather ~ So (get this) we put it to bed and tucked it up until we came back home!!!!!! I'm not sure who's nuttiest her or me LOL

You have chipmonks???? I'd love to have some too! They facinate me. :) I call them "chitters" because of the sound they make and my poor boys thought that was their actual name for years.:toothy:

Oh Debbie you must have been away when I got them ~ I've only had them about 2 ~ 3 weeks, they weren't a secret LOL.

The first day I got them one got out ~ Chipmunks are NOT easy animals to catch! LOL.

The only other rescue pets they had yesterday (DH thinks thankfully) were baby ferrets (awwwwww) but they smell loads and they don't like rats, so I only got to cuddle them.

Swopping the rabbit later so I'll come back with the new one LOL. It'll be a bit sad taking Jessie (the cashmere) back though :(

If I find anything else while I'm there (she has hundreds of animals) then we may as well move house LOL.

You can't move in my 'dinning room' (we obviously don't use it for dinning!!!) It is only about 12ft x 8ft and we have the computer, printer, (and paperwork 'stuff') the chipmunks and the rabbit ROFL!

I'm sorry you didn't do very well at your show, but maybe if you can get the word out, people will come to you. How about seeing if the local hospitals will let you put them in the gift shop on consignment? I'm glad you at least made your table cost back.

Your stall looks fabulous!!!! Sorry you din't make any money:( ...your bunny is so beautiful..it's a shame she is a biter, and the chippies are soooooo cute!!!!!!!...I went to a Teddy Bear picnic Saturday, and it was the same thing, no one was buying from the artists, and the prices were not bad for mohair, jointed and dressed bears....maybe things will get better soon;)

Thanks for posting the pictures of the chipmonks for me! They are adorable! I love Dale (the albino) because I have never seen one like him before. When I was little, I took in 3 rescued ducks for awhile until we could get them placed back in their pond. I named them Chip, Dale and Dave and took baths with them!:toothy: I was about 4 or 5 years old at the time.

Picked up the new rabbit tonight ~ She's an albino!!!! Nobody here will take albino pets because they don't want animals with pink eyes and also a breeder wouldn't give them house room.

So everybody leaves them at the rescue and takes all the others. So now we have an albino rat, chipmunk AND rabbit!!!!

I haven't taken a photo of her yet as she's only just come home and is settling in, but I will.

She and 36 others were rescued from a home where they were being bred for snake food :(

She already has a name ~ it is Raspberry! :laugh:
