In your hidden treasure quests what have been some of your great finds at garage sales, flea markets, curbside etc?

I have had several, but my favorite find was a beautiful crystal pedestal dish. I had it appraised in my antiquarians class at $600. I got it for $20 at a flea market.

My couch was probably was the best find. Its Broyhill and in great condition. Theres a pic posted in the dumpster diving thread. Free is always a great price :D
I also get all of my coupons from the newspaper recycling dumpster. You've never seen a site until you seen my big ol Nikes dangling while Im arse over apple cart into that dumpster LOLOLOL Im sure thats a site to see!! I re-sell, trade and give away the coupons. I usually sell them on Ebay for a lot 100 for $1.00 plus shipping. They get snapped right up! If you have a newspaper recycling place, take a look.....theres money to found in there!!

I got a bread machine years ago when they were very expensive for $35.00. Yep, I am still using it. I also have an $8.00 coffee table in my family room, I am sitting in a $5.00 swivel chair, there's a $10.00 swivel chair upstairs...the list goes on and on!

Hummmm, I guess my best would be a Hummel picture I got at a garage sale for 1.50, it was still in the ceran wrap with the certificate. I also purchased a picture by some famous artist John Du Pri I think? well I looked it up on ebay and his repro's are bringing in good money and this is an orginal. Oh I paid 20.00 for it. Can this just be a find? b/c once I bought a car from a bank repo lot and when I detailed it out, I found an almost 2 carrot dimaond ring:D . I was still living at home and DM bout had a cow so I gave it to her, she had it appraised and it appraised for 2000.00 back in 86.
