"Bender: I have such a deep admiration for guys who roll around on the floor with other guys.
Andrew: You'd never miss it. You don't have any goals.
Bender: Oh, but I do. I want to be just like you. I figure all I need is a lobotomy and some tights.
Brian: You wear tights?
Andrew: No, I do not wear tights. I wear the required uniform.
Brian: Tights.
Andrew: Shut up!" *LMAO*
Jerseygirl 01-28-2002, 08:11 PM Add St Elmo's Fire to the list--how many of the Brat Pack can you put in one movie? This is probably my favorite. Then there was Ghostbusters and The Outsiders--loved the Outsiders, I always cry at the end.
Nicole79 01-28-2002, 10:53 PM what, did your mother marry Mr. Rogers?
-No, Mr. Johnson
CountryMom 01-29-2002, 11:07 PM I LOVE Dirty Dancing!
Another one for the list... "Fast Times at Ridgemont high"
CountryMom 01-29-2002, 11:09 PM OMG, I forgot all about Ferris Bueller!
"Cameron is so tight if you put a lump of coal up his a** is 6 weeks you would have a diamond." lol
babynurse 01-31-2002, 04:19 PM :toothy: Goonies, Footloose, Flashdance, Top Gun.
Just bought ghostbusters @ Target for 9.44, what a blast from the past! The Chevy Chase movies were good too!
E.T, Indiana Jones....aaaahhh the classics! LMAO!
babynurse 01-31-2002, 04:43 PM  My favorite romantic movie of all time from the 80's is Somewhere In Time with Christopher Reeve. I am actually incorporating some of the beautiful music from it into my wedding! Wonderful movie and especially poignant considering Christopher Reeve's accident and to watch how handsome and healthy he was in that movie!
If you haven't seen this one, rent it!;)
Sara Noel 02-03-2002, 01:03 PM I really enjoyed somewhere in time movie too. I posted about it in the movie forum.
How about 80's cartoons? The Smurfs? *L*
I was really into stickers in the early 80's. Used to buy tons and tons. How about strawberry shortcake dolls? *L*
Sara
Nicole79 02-03-2002, 01:21 PM omg...strawberry shortcake was my favorite! I loved stickers, too.
Especially the puffy ones.
What about Rainbow brite, The Snorkels, My Little Pony, Care bears haha
flashback lol
CountryMom 02-03-2002, 05:15 PM I forgot all about Strawberry Shortcake. lol
I had Strawberry Shortcake, Lemon Meringue Pie, Raspberry Tart and Blueberry Muffin. I didn't have the mean baker guy.
mustang80 02-23-2002, 10:36 PM Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a CLASSIC! Also like Caddyshack, Fletch, basically anything with Chevy Chase. Remember Meatballs with Bill Murray, that was good too.:D
Sara Noel 02-26-2002, 04:38 PM I watched Ferris last night on Superstation. *LOL*
"My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious." *LMAO*
Michelle 02-26-2002, 04:54 PM I love that movie...it's an 80s classic..
I especially love when Ed Rooney thinks he's talking to Ferris' father but it's really Cameron on the other line LOL I loved seeing him get all flustered.
couponchic 09-30-2003, 08:37 PM I am an 80s fan. I just saw the reference to Strawberry Shortcake and it's funny how she is making a comeback now. Seems everything eventually makes a comeback. I was a huge Strawberry Shortcake fan. My grandmother made me a quilt with her and some of the others on it. Hmmm... now I am wondering if I have that quilt or if my mom still has it stashed somewhere. Will have to check.
