I picked up this craft this past week end and I'm "hooked." Sorry I couldn't resist:toothy: Really it is very easy and i think it will be a inexpensive craft. I thought they would make good gifts.

I didn't put a link because I thought that would be promoting another site. But the one that is rugging with julie is the lady i bought them from. She was extreamely nice and very helpful. Dd and I took a trip to silver dollar city. Had a great time and picked up a new craft.

I had looked for the name "Scandinavian Loop Rugs" and found mostly links to her site :D I figure she must be "the authority" on it? Have you finished a project?? If so how big and how long did it take you? I'd love to learn more!

I finished my firstone tonight. It took me one day maybe about 5hours but I put it down and pick it up alot. It is approx. 20 inches around and in the shape of a circle. It will be for my dining room table. I made it with just the scraps I had laying around.

I have made several rugs now for gifts. A round rug that would go in front of a doorway takes about a week. I pick it up and put it down a lot so I'm sorry i don't have a time, but a week is about what it took me for about a hour or two a day. I still am having trouble posting pics. I'm so computer dumb it isn't even funny and I think there is something wrong with our computer that I am unable to even add an avitar to my name here.
I am thinking of doing a lot of things this summer and entering a craft show next fall. This year alone I have made 3 sets of coasters, 2 hot pads, (trivets) and now I'm on my third rug. It really is very easy. the only drawback is that I have thread all over my floor from the excess that comes off as I'm rugging.:D
