Elise sure does have a very good variety of syrups! They look so good! Heather 09-13-2003, 10:58 AM I have used this one for years, it is from the Company's Coming Cookbook by Jean Pare. It is a thinner syrup than you buy in the store but we are used to that now. Pancake Syrup 3 cups water 3 cups white sugar 3 cups brown sugar 1 cup corn syrup 1 Tablespoon lemon juice, fresh or bottled 1 Tablespoon vanilla 1 Tablespoon maple flavouring Combine first 4 ingredients in large saucepan. Stir on medium-high until it boils. Add lemon juice, vanilla and maple flavouring. Stir. Fill hot sterilized bottles/jars to within 1/4 inch of top. Seal. Yummy!! pip 09-13-2003, 09:19 PM I bought a product called MAPLEINE (imitation maple flavor). I can't remember how much it cost, not too much, and it has lasted a really long time. It's pretty good when served nice and warm. :) simplemom 09-13-2003, 09:43 PM Thank-you!:heartsm: Michelle 09-13-2003, 09:51 PM Originally posted by simplemom Elise sure does have a very good variety of syrups!
