I am not much of a purse carrier. I have a small card holder that I slip into my pocket for quick trips and a check wallet that I often carry. I own a purse, but rarely use it. I know many people are lost without their purses, so I wonder...what's in yours?

use to have one that i couldn't live without now i just lug my organizer around has cash Sometimes, license, isurance cards junk receipt as little as possable. I am actually amazed that i have down sized so much. Must be an age thing or i get it from my mother because she only carries her wallet with her checkbook in it.

I guess I am a gadget person.

i have a wallet, a PDA, a cell phone, a mp3 player, check book, three or 4 pens, keys, work identification, a dozen or so dollar coins, assorted papers, some change, Chap stick, few pieces of hard candy, immoniun pills, motrin.. and a few objects I have not identified yet

I've got my wallet and checkbook in there, my cell phone (used for emergencies only), a pen or two, Tylenol, "womenly products" for that time of the month, tissues, chap stick. If I'm going to a friend's house or out (not too often) I carry a few pieces of makeup--lipstick, powder, and eyeliner. I would love to just carry a wallet, but every time I attempt this, I find myself wishing I had brought something from my purse. ;)

I am one of those who cannot live without her purse. Mine contains:
my wallet
checkbook
address book
calendar
cell phone
business card case
pens
keys (2 sets)
my son's wallet
and a make up bag with tylenol, tampons, chapstick, etc.

upon my usall clean out I normally have

3 matchbox cars
tisssues
a couple of loose sultanas
my wallet
my keys
my mobile phone
my asthma inhaler
2 or 3 pens
a list of books i add to whenever i see one interesting so i know what to get at the library
a small pad of paper with numerous lists written on it
micky mouse bandaids ( got on sale cheeper than the normal ones!)

In my purse you'll find my wallet, a comb, pens, pencils, address labels, old grocery receipts, gum, a calendar, Excedrin, Tums, "womens things" and loose change. You know, now that I look at that list, those are the things you'd find in dm's purse too!

My purse is so heavy that I can hardly lift it!:eek: I could not begin to list all of the stuff I have in that bag:ugh: I'm sure it is a security thing!:D

layaway tickets if anything is currently in layaway (not often)

Whatever receipts I haven't unloaded yet, lol

I think that's it! oh, a pen! and it NEEDS a small hairbrush in it...but usually it ends up left in the car (which doesn't do much good on windy days when you park way out)

Junk-there is so much junk in my tiny little purse! There is probably 2 months of pay stubs, alittle wallet filled with credit card , license, business cards-mine and everyone I've met in the past 2 years, a pen, a few notes to self, an unfilled script, checkbook, lipstick etc etc etc. I keep my phone in the car, and my coupons and everything else.:D

I have kinda a tote instead of a purse.Or as us southerners call it a pocket book :)ANyways it is a big black bag(calvin klien given to me by my grandmother wooopppeeee)in it you will find on one side a 3 ring binder(told ya it was big)full of my daily plans,folder with bills,frugal ideas,recipes,etc plus there is a section where I write everything we spend in there daily(this is mostly why I keep it with me at all times)I also write my grocery list in my daily stuff to do,but if i took it out i would loose it and not beable to write on the back for my next grocery list :D ,also a list of yard sale needs and wants.you will also find on this side of my pocket book a notepad and a pen

in the middle I keep my wallet(lets not even go there)a film canister of quaters(never know when I'll find a yard sale)our clothing money,holiday money and my extras envelope(read post about envelope systm)and my keys this section is zipped.

on the other side I keep my big coupn organizer,and sale adds I need to take with me,receipts not yet recorded in price book,some makeup a large hairbrush(not so large now the handle broke off 1 week ago still to cheap to buy a new one,hey it still works)and of course womens needs and tylenol

I rarely go out,but this also doubles as a good filing sytem for our financial stuff.

I don't really like carrying a purse either, they feel so awkward to me, but when I do use one, it will have my wallet and keys, and my coupons, a comb, and chapstick.
