I have been inspired by Sara to dig out the afghan I have been working on for my son. I started it when I was pregnant with Erick. He is almost four now!!! Here's some links to the afghan I posted in the gallery. And I will post a close up of it here in this thread. I hope to have this done by Erick's 4th Birthday on Nov 2. If not, I will have it done for Christmas, I hope.

I worked on it a little bit while on the phone with my mother. I hope to do a little every day. I think it will take this skein and one more to finish it the size I'd like it. Not sure the actual dimensions it will be. I'll know its done when it looks right. :D

Kathryn, I thought about doing that, but I am making Hannah a quilt using the blocks from the quilting tutorial in the quilting forum. Can't give a "blanket" to one and not the other :D I think he'll like his afghan though. But it is a good idea. :)

I think you ladies have inspired me to learn crocheting. I was looking at some learning how to crochet books yesterday but didn't get them. I just might go back and get them now.
Your afghan is really pretty and I'm sure Erick is going to love it.
