free patterns at www.freepatterns.com you have to register for them, but it is free. I printed off probably 8 patterns already.
They have quilting, sewing, crochet, knit, cross stitch and on and on. All sorts of categories too.

Thanks. :) I've been feverishly working on Zachary's blanket and will be looking for something new to do in no time. ;)

I am nearly done the afghan I showed in the thread I posted in this forum. I have to finish the skein i am using now and then another skein. then I am done. DS's 4th Birthday is Nov 2 so I am hoping to get it done by then.

I am trying to learn knitting as well so maybe i can make some little things for Christmas. :loop: I think i can get it done if i adjust my schedule some...who needs sleep afterall, lol :toothy:

I'd love to see your blanket for Zachary, Sara, I bet it looks great!

I like the ripple...it works up pretty quickly. I'm excited for when I can call this project done and move onto something even more fun.

I like doing blankets. I am not sure I have it in me to do things like hats, slippers, etc though. I see such cute little crochet projects for magnets and ornaments. *sigh*

Gabe asked me if I was going to be making slippers. I don't think he realizes how green I am at this crocheting stuff.

LOL, I know what you mean, big Erick asked me to do a sweater for him. It will be some time before i figure that out!! LOL. maybe i can convince him that the "new" sweater is a afghan wrapped around him??? :toothy:

Zachary is on my butt daily over his blanket. lol
"Is it done yet, Is it done yet?" He keeps asking when I am adding the black too.
There will be no black. ugh it's tough enough working in the colors I am working with. :toothy:
Wait until I post it. It's ummm colorful...yeah that's it. He chose the colors and he loves it so far. That's what matters. Well that and making sure it doesn't all unravel as soon as he crawls in bed with it. lol

Well, I have been working pretty diligently on Erick (ds's) afghan. I am nearly finished. I have 7 rows to go. I'd finish it tonight, but my hands have contorted into a clawllike cramp. After I finish it, I will post a finished result pic and give the final dimensions and stitch specifics. It has been a long time in the making, but I am glad to be almost done with it. I have been working on it probably 4 straight hours today alone. :loop:

:yippee: I finished mine tonight! It measures (by stitches) 285 ch by 100 rows of double crochet. It is in the wash right now, lots of cat hair. I will dry it flat on towels after blocking it...probably on the kitchen floor...gotta figure out a place for the cats to be comfortably for tonight. I'd like to wrap it in the morning. One gift down...lots to go! Once it it dry, I'll take a pic to show everyone! I am just so happy to have it done!!! :yippee:

I started this March 1999, if that isn't procrastination, I don't know what is! I am so excited to have it done, "Yay, me!"
