and how is it going??;) morgan is now 7 1/2 months old and i am still breastfeeding. i plan to continue AT LEAST till he is 1 year old....maybe longer.:D

I quit breastfeeding Isaac when he was 2 1/2 months old. I just didn't feel like I had adequate milk for him. I wish I would have been able to continue longer, but at least he received some health benefits from the time I did give him! Good luck in continuing breastfeeding!

I am. Alexandra will be a year on 11-20. :) She uses her sippy most of the day though.

Not us anymore. We kept it up until 21 months. She would have gladly continued, but I had a 4 day conference to go to!


This was waaaay longer than I had planned.

DD will be 1 next month. For her 9 month check up, her iron was really low, so the doc told me to supplement her with formula in a sippy cup. She said if sh'e BF twice a day, give her one cup of formula, if she's only BF once a day, give her 2. Now little Miss Princess likes her independance of drinking by herself, so she totally lost interest in me.

I was a little heartbroken- since I couldn't BF DS, and I know DD will be it for us. But I was planning on starting to wean her at a year. I guess this way, it's less traumatic on her.

I get Target brand formula for $9.04 and it lasts her 2 weeks- so it's not like I'm spending a fortune on it, which was one of my main concerns of why I wanted to BF- that and the health benefits.

glad to hear there are still some breastfeeding. keep it up.:) sorry to hear about the others, but you know what is best for your little one so don't feel bad.:D at least you DID breastfeed some. that is what counts.;)
