Yay me!!! I finished a sock today! in total it has probaby taken me about four or five hours to make, but i had to stretch that over the course of a week and a half because of things going on daily. Here's a shot of the sock. It is knee high. it is in a spiral pattern (knit). I am so happy with it...now I gotta get going on the second sock so I can have a pair. :D

That's fantastic!! :yippee:

Gotta give you credit for perseverence - uh - perserverance - no - perseverance - um - for sticking it out! I'm ashamed to admit that I usually don't! I was trying to make a lap blanket for my Dad's wheelchair while he was going through chemo - Virginia in February is COLD! :winter: - anyway, by the time I was done, it was a scarf and not a very good one at that! Kindda looked like a fraying tube sock..... ;)

WTG Melissa!! I'm proud of you!! :)

That is just too cool! WTG! I tried making a hat yesterday. It supposedly was for a toddler. It fits me. I don't think a pastel pink hat suits me, so I am going to undo it and try again. lol

It looks awesome and I am glad you didn't give up. :)

ROFL Sara! If she doesn't have enough for a body sock she can always make a straight jacket and a muzzle! (ooh that was bad sorry)
