Or does everything run relativly smooth? Do you have clothes placed out the night before, the kids backpack, lunches etc... ready to go? Do you know whats for breakfast?
I keep a menu for meals posted on the refridgerater, the kids pick out their clothes the night before and lay them out, and we make their lunches . They also have their backpacks ready to go.
So what are mornings like for you?:smball:

If I am a "good girl"--I make my dh's lunch and dd's snack (she goes to preschool PT) the night before. I also make sure dh has clothes for the week, so he can just pick what he wants to wear without looking through baskets full of clean laundry (but not put away) or downstairs through the clean laundry that has yet to be hauled up two flights of stairs.
However, there is always something going on...like dd can't find her shoe, dh won't get up on time, etc. that causes a bit of trouble for us. All is fine and quiet by 9:15 though :)
There is just the two of us, Hubby and I, so the morning ha a lot less people involved than most of you.
The alarm goes off.... snooze button
the alarm goes off again......snooze button...
the third or so time the alarm goes off.. .finally turned off.
I get up a few minutes before Hubby,
and do a mad dash around... clothes.. teeth... toss something in bag for breakfast/lunch... usually salad and fruits and a Mountain Dew.
hug husband... who is up by now
head for the door
Car in in the garage.. so no having to warm up the car, get ice off the windshield, etc
down the street :)

Our mornings are similiar to Bevv's. I put Dh's clothes out and make his lunch the night before. He leaves about an hour and 1/2 before me, so I get to roll over and sleep for a while longer.:smball:

When DS was little and I was working, I found that if I got up earlier and was dressed and ready and had all his stuff ready before he ogt up, I was much less stressed.
Even when I was a SAHM, I got up before him and was dressed and ready to go. The day just seeemed to run smoother.

Our mornings are insane! They begin at 5:50 and I finally get everyone out the door at 7:45. Two human slugs live here (AKA my sons). I can get up and be out the door in about forty minutes, inlcuding a shower, makeup and breakfast. I take Gypsy for her morning walk when I walk the boys to school, so I do combine tasks. FWIW, I make lunches the day before. DH makes his own lunch.

There is just two of us. Gregg gets up and showers etc while I'm making the coffee and lunch for him. I feed the cats after he is done with his shower and pretty much out the door. After he leaves is when i get ready for work. He has a drive to get to work and I only work at the corner so it doesn't take me as long. As I'm walking out the door I start the washer and at lunch time they go in the dryer. I would say I'm pretty organized.
