We have had a rough time this fall and summer with tiny little moths in our pantry. I have pulled everything out and sprayed, they came back. I pulled everything out and put in moth balls and fly strips, tubs of soapy water and so on. Everything we have done they have come back. i have thrown out more things than i care to think about. So Dh lined our pantry walls with cedar. Looks great in there, and smells great to us. And since then I haven't seen anymore moths in there! Woo hoo!

(he just the bottom 20'')

Melissa, I have been plagued with this buggers for about 2 years! I clean out, and they come back. I NEVER put dry goods in the pantry anymore because of this. I keep the flour in the freezer and things like macaroni in the garage stockpile that dh built to be both rodent and moth proof.

Where did you get the cedar, can you tell me more about it, like how expensive or hard it was? I have been using cedar balls and I am sick of these bugs!!!

Your hubby, Robin gets a discount on em I bet! DH got Cedar closet liner at Home Depot. A box cost 21.90 before tax. Dhis going to answer your questions:

"You will find the super cedar closet liner in the storage and shelving asile at Home Depot it is made by Giles & Kendall, Inc.

If you follow the direction on the back it should only take 2 hours or so pending on how many square feet you decide to do.

I installed 28 sqft and the tools I used were a jigsaw, compound miter saw, and a 15 gauge cordless finish nailer with one small tube of liquid nails for interior projects , only glue your starting and ending boards

missy can show you the pictures

this is only the first round next will be the closets & were ever else she would like it installed

hope this helps"

Oh I see, you are doing the walls of your cupboards. I was thinking the shelves themselves. Dh does not get a discount, how sad huh, thye said that employees had really been taking advantage it by making money by purchasing things for friends, can't wait to show dh this!

Wow, that sucks!! I can't imagine them not getting a discount. We just did the walls in the pantry, not the shelves themselves...but that might be a great idea!!
