Here is mine, I had to take a picture of a picture so there are a few "bright spots" The back of my dress was scalloped about half way down my back.

Well, my dress was long, but simple. It had puffy sleeve shoulders. I will ask Pierre to scan a picture later today! You won't recognize me... ;)

I didn't wear a gown. I had worked in the wedding industry for years and have seen some incredible gowns, but it just isn't me.

I wore an Anne Klein women's tuxedo. I loved it. It was very simple and elegant and I wouldn't change a thing.

I wore a very pale ivory (I think they called it candlelight) sheath dress with short puffy sleeves. It had a lot of beading on it, and had a detachable train.

I have pictures to scan to show you all, but I need to hook up my scanner (can't find the software right now :bang: ) I'll post pictures when I can. :)

Mine was candlelight as well Michelle. It was odd, because next to ivory it looked white, and next to white it looked Ivory.

Mine was a "antique white"-- basically, ivory.  The top was beaded around the waist and front making it look like I was wearing a jacket and skirt.  I loved my dress!

Here's mine, my hair is past my boobies now though and I've lost some weight.

Mine was very 80's. Low cut but that's ok all my big hair covered up most everything else. LOL My bangs were very high, so I guess that brought the eye up.

Very pretty everyone! Sara, you definitely have your own style. Very chic. :D I always dreamed of a white gown...but alas, we eloped. I got married in a black off the shoulder formal gown. Have to see if I can find a pic. I got black because we were in Vegas and it was all I could find in my price range. *sigh*

Some of you LIW (Laura Ingalls Wilder) buffs may remember that she married in black also. Helps me feel not so wierd LOL

I got married in a silky slip dress, white with an all over oriental inspired white on wwhite print.

I've posted my picture before, but here it is again. This picture will be 22 years old in a couple weeks.

My dress had buttons down the back, crinolines underneath (six layers!) and suited me at the time. It's not what I would choose now.

ok, here is my dress, but it doesn't show the full-view. i am at my mom's house and i couldn't find a picture that showed the whole thing. i will try to find one when i go home.;)  i bought my dress from a second-hand store, but when i tried it on, i knew it was the one. it fit perfectly. it was very simple, but i loved it. (you have to remember too that our wedding day fell on the hottest day of the year. it was june 21st, 1997 and 98*:eek: . it was sooooo hot and humid and the church didn't have AC.)

Mine cost us $60 at a thrift store, but I liked it!!

This pic is not too clear, (picture of a picture). I just loved my veil. It was like a headband of beads with ruffle-y netting cascading down the back.

The dress was very modest with big shoulders and lots of beads. I love the cutout on the train.

My first wedding, I was 18 and wore a long white gown with a train, with lots of lace and a beautiful veil with real flowers woven through the headpiece. It was lovely.

My wedding to DH (the best and the last one ever for me :bride: ) was a small afternoon wedding held at the district judges office with just my parents, my sister and my kids and DH's cousin attending. I wore a long denim dress with birdhouses and butterflies appliqued onto it and a white shirt underneath and DH wore jeans and a nice western shirt and boots and a cowboy hat. :groom:
