Do you put it aside for something special that you're saving for, do you put it in savings, or....?

I sold some fabric this week and also received a small rebate check this week too. I'm trying to decide where to apply the money should I still have it at the end of the bill paying.

We try to save ours. Unless we are running short that month. Then it gets spent.

First I jump up and down with glee :yippee: then I think about what I want to do with it. Usually it goes in the bank.:)

I usually try to put it into savings But this year it is all going on to our debt.

Good question Michelle. I have a whopping $4.00 from my car insurance rebate that I was going to send to our main back for the checking account. Now I am rethinking it. Not just for the $4 but what I want to do with money like this and how I will put it in the budget or if I even will.

I get all scrooge like and hold it like it's my lucky dime and then as soon as I tell Gabe about it, I regret that I mentioned it.

I so wish I could keep my mouth shut and just keep it for myself.

It just goes buh-bye....Off into that big dark abyss of what we owe.

I had the opportunity to make an extra $50 yesterday. :D I'm going to put into our "medical payments fund". Our deductible will have to be met again.:(

Oooh this is a great idea. I need to save money for deductibles now too :(

I like to cash a little check like that and then put in my cash stash that we use only for emergencies. You know....emergencies like when you forgot you ordered those 3 boxes of girl scout cookies and they show up at your door....lol.

I try to put it towards something fun for our family, but lately it has all gone to unexpected "emergency" bills! grrrrrr....

I usually put it in the checking and put it toward bills. This year I would like to save all those rebates and put them into our emergency fund.

I put any extra unexpected money directly into our savings account.
