I believe I've mentioned this before, but books are my weakness. I LOVE to read and love to accumulate books. I've gotten much, MUCH better about this, however, I still have a gajillion books. I have 4 boxes in the garage ready for the garage sale, but I know I could thin out the herd further. So, I'm going to try to do this today:

"Take all your books off the shelves. Dust and put back only your favorites and pass along those books you don't wish to reread. If you didn't have your books in any particular order before, consider grouping them by category. You might keep all your novels in one section and all your nonfiction books in another, grouped by subject: for example, gardening, self-help, travel."

I'm starting to feel like that is necessary. Books are my weakness, my pitfall, my fatal flaw in the perfect garden of order.

AmyBoz books are also my weakness. Sometimes, they are my best friends. I have just cleaned out a lot of books and sold them to a used book store. I made about $132.00.

I have kept my fav. books. I have them sorted by biographies, art books, classics, gardening etc. I have learned so much from books. They have given me so much.

Books are hard for me to get rid of, too. I want to keep all of them, even the ones I don't plan to reread. Thanks for sharing this tip.
