I feel your pain Chelle. Our's was huge too. Dh's shop and office were HUGE. I bout got sick when I saw those bills. BUT it's been really, really cold so I'm sure that's why they are up so much.....but still.......OUCH!

OUCH!!!!!!! Mine is $173.00!!! Up $53.00 from last month!

I'm gonna try to pay it as hopefully this will be the last month its this high. January tends to be bitter cold as a rule, February usually is not. We had a rough January!

My payoff for not being on the budget plan is lower bills in the coming months....

Water bill... Use a gallon jug to catch water while you're waiting for the "right" temp. Use it for pets, plants, flushing, washing laundry, cooking(so long as it is clean)...I can't wait to get our water bill to see how this has affected our usage!

I use rubber tubs for dishes (wash and rinse). When I'm done, I use the rinse water for the washing machine... cross your fingers!

Wow Michelle! It's been incredibly cold this winter. Thanfully, spring is just around the corner.

Gas bills are higher this year then any before. They've given so many reason why, but I believe it's just price gouging. Our bill jumped from $150 to $290. We use propane, no natural gas lines in the woods. I just hope the price drops because of the warm weather coming. ]

I'ts been colder than usual around here too. We had a record low in January there. Winter bites doesn't it? I'm SO looking forward to warmer weather and spring. There are signs that it's coming but oh it will be nice.
