The kids just told me that our library books and DVDs are due in another town today. We quickly hopped online and renewed them to avoid late fees. That got me to thinking about some of the different ways we have used the computer to save money. I thought it would be great to post our ideas here and share our "wealth" of knowledge!:D

1. Renew and reserve library items.
2. Pay bills and transfer money online.
3. Look up grocery ads online.
4. Comparision shop for items.
5. Print off coupons.
6. Find great deals and use online coupon codes.
7. Get all those wonderful freebies!
8. Do the online surveys for cash and merchandise.
9. Get consumer ratings on items.
10. Look up things that are of interest to you like frugal living, homesteading, crafting and learn for free!
11. Print off cards, stationary, etc.
12. Use email and save on postage stamps or phone calls.
13. If you need to figure out how to repiar something, you can look it up online.
14. We use ours to run our programs for school.
15. Store lots of information on little disks and save yourself lots of space!!!
16. Make friends all over the world and chat with them!!!! :grouphug:

I save lots of $$$ with email and IMs to my sister who live in another town. We never use long distance anymore because we can IM and have a great free conversation. I also save gas because I search the ads online and make my driving plans for the shortest route.

Give or Trade Coupons with other People who can use them.
Of Course like Debbie mentioned earlier Making Friends with People.
Reasearch things for Church, School , and Work.
Trace Family History.
Reasearch my Indian Family Background.
Reasearch and Connect with Family I have yet to meet who live in another state.
That is all I can think of .
Oh Go to School Online as well.

I also save $$ by sending emails & IM's to family who live in another state.
I done my family Geneology online
I make trades online
do most of my shopping {including groceries} online
surveys for cash
