View Full Version : Spring Fling Mission 3 Complete!!!!
SewCrafty 03-18-2004, 05:00 PM Almost! :D I still have a couple of things to go through but will do that on the weekend.
So you can get the feel of how bad it really was, here are my 3 before pics:
SewCrafty 03-18-2004, 05:01 PM Before pic 2
SewCrafty 03-18-2004, 05:03 PM And here is before picture 3
SewCrafty 03-18-2004, 05:09 PM Now for the after pics, I have 4 of those! :D
In the far right corner is now my dress form that hasn't fit in the room in a year! There is a little bench next to it that covers up pipes so I put my 5 Sterlite containers that have something in each of them on it 1) Zippers 2) Lace 3) Elastic 4) Velcro and fasteners 5) Seam binding and piping.
My bulletin board is there to until I clean the computer room and put it up.
Then is cone thread in the shelving unit Jack built. And that is my serger set up on the counter.
Under the counter is another shelf he built that goes all around under the countertop. Under this side is 3 boxes with my sewing, knitting, crocheting and craft books all separated and catagorized.
SewCrafty 03-18-2004, 05:13 PM This next picture has another selving unit Jack built, on it are my spools of thread in containers, my tool box and another container with my snap fastener thingy and all the snaps that go with it. Now maybe I can find them!
That is my other serger in the corner of the countertop and my regular machine on the countertop. You can just see the shadows of some of my pattern boxes underneath.
SewCrafty 03-18-2004, 05:17 PM This next picture is of my cutting table EMPTY!!! I do have 3 18 gallon totes stored underneath it. One has UFO's, another upolstry fabric and the 3rd has current yarn projects in it.
SewCrafty 03-18-2004, 05:21 PM And the last picture is of my dresser with my fabric in it. The shelf next to it has my wooly nylon thread in it. The shelves next to that has mainly things I need when ironing plus my 2 spare irons, one is for traveling and the other is for crafting.
The boxes under the shelf are what I need to go through yet plus a huge tote under the countertop, lots of craft stuff in there I don't remember all what.
The 2 boxes on top of the dresser are Flings for Sale that I have to take pictures of, plus I have 4 more boxes in the computer room!
So what do ya think? Wow I can finally WORK in there! :yippee:
Thank you everyone for all your encouragement! :grouphug:

SewCrafty 03-18-2004, 06:59 PM Thanks girls, whew I am beat!
The curtains I made last summer. I never had curtains up there before and just decided to make some. They are all just 1 panel each and just bits and pieces I had. Those were the only things clean before I started. I took them down about 2 weeks ago and washed them and then procrastinated about cleaning the room, just ask Darlene! :D
Michelle 03-18-2004, 07:00 PM Great job Dee---that room is my messiest too, and I don't even want to touch it. I spent about 1/2 hr in there on Sunday but haven't been back since.
K is sick, and I'm still fighting my cold....when will the winter be over??
