Just found this place via "A Family Tradition".
I am a 58 mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. Been married to my college sweetheart for 36 years this September.
My husband is retired US Navy, Master Chief, he retired with 28 years. He now has a civilian job. I am no longer working, I enjoy staying home and putterin.
Anyhow, just stopped in to say "Howdy"

Hiya Noni! Welcome. I'm positive I've bumped into you before, your name is familiar. I'm Margery aka dozymom. I'll fill you in on my biography a bit.
Dh works for the local utility here in Kamloops, BC (western most province in Canada) and we figure that frugality is my job and savings are the wage I pull in as a SAHM.
My kids are grown up now. I quit work as an RN to homeschool them thru highschool, but have long since figured out that I don't want to go back to that kind of hectic life. I've had some health issues, namely a wonky thyroid so a quieter schedule works just fine.
Our 24 year old son is in his final year of his degree, working his way thru and living with a couple of other guys from our church and our 21 yr old dd also working thru university lives at home.
Dh works for the local utility, and we putter along together in the garden, fixing up our house and so on.
I like my home, gardening, cleaning, cooking esp OAMC, knitting and sewing and chatting up a storm.
Hoping to get to know you better and glad you could join us. :D
