Hi Everyone

My name is Suzanne, I lived in the UK, I was just browsing through some penpal sites when I came across this web site.

I am happily married, and we have 4 daughters, and 4 cats, unfortunately our family dog of 15 years past away last week.

I find your web site very interesting and I hope to make some new friends here.

It was sad to say goodbye to our pooch, it was realy hard on the girls, especially our youngest, she is 9 - 10 in October. She is still not sleeping to well. It will take some some time, but we will get there in the end.:(

 Hello Suzanne, welcome to the village.
My name is Lisa, I'm a sahw with 3 grown kids (all moved out onto their own). About 2 years ago we had to have our 12 year old schnauzzer put down due to illness. It was very hard, my heart goes out to your whole family. I hope you will be able to smile and laugh over some precious memories soon. We still talk about our Bandy.

Hi Guys

Thanks for all your welcome messages:smball:

The reason why I'm called 'hobbygirl' is because I'm mad on hobbies, such as; cross-stitch, scrapbooking, glass painting, building paper houses, especially Victorian style. I also enjoy painting, that all started with my 4 daughters, they all have their own favourite Disney Princess and their own favourite colour, and at the time of this creation, we were decorating their bedrooms.

They all decided they wanted their part of the room in their fav colour, with their fav Disney Princess, so they said the to me one day,"Mummy can we have our bedrooms like this?"

So, in the eldest girls room, they are 12 years and 11 years at the moment, we have one side lilac with Snow White, and on the other side it is pale blue with Belle.

In the youngest girls room, they are 10 years and 9 years at the moment, we have one side pink with Sleeping Beauty, and the other side is yellow with Ariel.

All hand painted, just like they wanted:eek:

Our dog Cassie as she is known and will never be forgotten, when all the girls are in bed at night, and I am sat alone in the living room, I can still hear her moving around in her bed. My hubby works nights and used to talk her for an early morning walk when he had finished work, he is now lost in the mornings and doesn't know what to do.
We have plenty of photos of Cassie, and I am planning on doing a large picture of her and hanging it in the living room.

Well I must go now and make the girls something to eat, youngest should on her way home with daddy, she just had gym club.

I will be back on later.

I feel like I have found a new home, you are all so very nice.

My hubby and I, and the girls of course, are planning on living in America in the next 5 years, fingers crossed anyhow.

Paper houses, well, maybe not you are thinking. These houses are pre-printed, by a company called Dover Publications, they are American. It is a pre-printed book, each book can have one or several houses in one book, depending on what you want. You cut them out, score some tabs so they bend, and glue the pieces together. They are designed for children, big kid at heart LOL, but I sometimes find them fiddley (SP).

LOL!! So they want you to be a Medical Examiner too!!
Get lots of sleep and put those kids on auto pilot!
They have a lot of schooling cut out for you!!

But really lucky them ... they dont realize it yet ... but they have a great role model and hero to look up to!
It's YOU!

My kids remember all the hard work and studing my hubby did when he was still in school and it made a big impression on them when he was up doing his homework just like them!

Keep up the good work!
And keep us informed of your progress!
