Seashells (large and as flat as possible)
Tea lights
Sand or rice
Paraffin


Wash and dry the shells. Set them in a bowl filled with rice or sand to hold them steady while pouring the wax. Remove the tin casings from the tea lights and gently pull out the metal core from the bottom to remove the wick. Place the metal core in the center of the shell. Make sure the wick is standing upright. Cut the paraffin into 1-inch cubes and place in a double boiler. Heat over medium heat until the wax is melted (approx. 5 minutes). Pour the wax slowly into the shells and allow to cool.
