It's my first day here. I just stopped to take a look and got sucked in by all the great posts. I am from California, I am single with a 13 year old daughter and a small dog.

I have been living a simple life for a couple of years now. I want to be home with my daughter, so I don't work much. (3 months a year) I can't wait to learn some new frugal tricks.

About the time I think I've cut every possible expenses, I read a post that inspires me to try something new.
