Do you have any April Fools stories about past pranks/jokes? Anything stirring for this year? Pretty boring in our household. No tales to tell.

Nothing here to tell either...we don't do anything for it. I guess it's because I can't take a joke :) LOL, so the rule is no April Fool's day pranks/jokes here. When the kids get older I'll play along since I don't want to ruin their fun--the rule now is just between dh and me.

ha! I saw the thread..and thought you were going to say "April Fools" with regards to your pregnancy! LOL!

My staff thought they would be cute and one by one came into the office claiming illness, personal emergency etc. so they could go home. By the 4th one, we found them all in a room giggling. That's ok, my superviser and I got them back. We typed out a letter on state stationary saying that a really bad client we currently have on a temp basis will be permanent, then setting forth guidelines to handle her that would make a huge amount of work for them. We called a staff mtg, handed out the letter had a 10 minute discussion about it, got them all worked up then pointed out that the letter was signed by: Don T. Believeit. HA!

I entered a songwriting contest for Merlefest this year (its a huge music festival) if you get chosen as a finalist for this contest...you get into the whole weekends festivities for free...PLUS they pay for your hotel....so Im sitting here at home on pins and needles already..LOL.....
sooo...this friend of mine...hes only 18 the brat...he comes online yesterday....and says over messenger...."have you checked out the Merlefest Page yet??"
and I say "why"
and he says "Go Look" and "congratulations"
my heart pounds and Im frantically looking all over the website...
losing my mind........
then I stop and remember what day it is....
and Im going to kill him....I really am.....

My sister called me and started saying how she was feeling sick and that she went to the store inbetween classes and got a preg test and it came up positive.THen she said she went to the dr and did one and it was positive too.LOL Then I asked when is your first appt.,she says in about 4 weeks.Then I ask did you tell mom(she's 19 by the way)and she said not yet,she doesn't want to spring it on her.Then I ask if she told her boyfriend and she said he's in classes all day and won't get the chance till later that evening.Then I reply with well it better be a girl(I have no neices,4nephews,dd is only girl)Then she asked what day it was.LOL I could kill her.

My friend told her dh she took a preg test cause she was late(she's on depo)so she dipped the test she took when she found out she was pg with her dd in water to make it look real.She then told her dh to go look cause she couldn't.She said he came back looking horrified and said you go look at it.This went on for about 2 hrs and then she finaly told him.LOL(her dd is only 6mo)
