You know what it is like when you pay good money for 'the best' and then it doesn't even last? :grrr:

I have a rubbermaid dish drainer set, well the bottom part thingy cracked and is leaking! :fuming:

I only bought the thing 25 years ago!

I agree, try emailing them and see if they will do something for you. those things shouldn't crack like that.

After all it's only a quarter of a century and the environmental lobby is ALWAYs complaining about how long plastic lasts!!!

Bout time somebody made sure Rubbermaid KNEW what the quality expectation is

Several years back, I bought a lot of their totes. One of the lids cracked before the rebate check arrived (if you bought $50.00 worth, you got cash back--can't remember how much). I called them and they UPSed me a new one at no charge. They are a great company--I'll bet they will fix it for you!

25 years, that's ALL?:D

I'd send them an e-mail praising their product. Don't forget to add your addy just in case they want to say thankyou to you for taking the time to write. WTG rubbermade.:) http://www.rubbermaid.com/hpd/consumer/contact/contactus.jhtml

So what color dish drain set are you going to get next? What color was the one that bit the dust? When you do go shopping for a new one you'll see some different features & the size has changed. Takes some getting used to.

Maybe you could mail it in and ask for a free replacement.

You'll discuss your fee with them in an enclosed letter for kitchen-testing it for a quarter of a century! :toothy:

After all, your time is worth money!

You can discuss testing their "new model" with them after the above deal is cut!

:D

I like Darlene's advice. E-mail or snail mail them, you never know they might send you a surprise.
