Okay, well, so you may remeber that I told you that after closing on the new house, we found all these leaks and mold damage and all sorts of other lovely lovelies in the kitchen and bathroom. So, I'm gonna post the before pictures (from when the old owners lived there), and now. Don't you think we've done wonders with the place? Oh, by the way, we move in a week from tomorrow.

New Bathroom (view from the next room, through where shower used to be...yeah, that's right...the damage was so pervasive, we had to rip down walls in adjoining rooms.)

Amy! Way to go! You guys are awesome. Us Noel's are so not handy! You must be exhausted with all this going on!

Can't wait to see it when it's done. :)

I'm sorry that there was damage. We found out a few things too once we moved in. We have an entire bonus room that appeared awesome, but is so poorly insulated that we don't use it at all. It's either freezing or stifling in it.

I know you'll be happy when all this is over, but your home is so beautiful!

Sorry you had to go through all of this after paying so much to buy the house.:( It's gonna be great though to make it just the way you want it. Can't wait to see what you do. Could you give us progress pics as you remodel, that would be so cool. Any plans on what you want to do?

Wow Amy! I'm glad you found it all before you moved in. Is it going to be done in time to move in?

Good luck with the renovation!:hug2:

LOL What a big job - I really admire all your work and ambition!

Just think, "all that mold and mildew is gone without the smelly odors some of the other cleaners leave!" :toothy:

The house looked really cute in the "before" pictures. I'm sure it will look even better in the "after!" :grwave:

P.S. Be sure to post the "finished" pictures.

Think how beautiful it's going to be and be glad your not in the house yet. I had my bathroom remodled last spring and what a mess it was! Dust everywhere, my furniture, draperies, even the clothes hanging in our closets were covered! I must say the contractors were really good, they did cover all the doorways with plastic and used plenty of drop cloths, it still seeped through. I started to wonder about halfway through the project if it was worth it. Now that's it's done, I know it was worth it I just love it! I am sorry about the mess you found, but now you will have your own space to enjoy for years to come. It's going to be great and I can't wait see your pic's.
