I have not interviewed for a job in about 6 years. The lady that I talked to on the phone has just been wonderful and I'm looking foward to meeting with her and the rest of the interview team. However...I'm still nervous. I really, really want this job and would do so well at it. Plus, financially we really need me to get it.

Could you send up prayers and good thoughts for me please? My interview is at 9:30 a.m and the other person they are interviewing is at 11:00 a.m.. I'm hoping to hear one way or the other by later in the day.

I'm interviewing for the Branch Manger position at our tiny library here in town. Basically, it's a glorified librarian position, but one that I would love to have.

Nerves are good, whenever I have been nervous for a job interview I have gotten the job!

Thanks Ladies! I leave in about half an hour for my interview. My hubby and I prayed this morning and my oldest son gave me a pep talk.;) I made a list of all the things that I would like to do IF I get the job:

1. Deliver library books to the shut-ins in our community
2. Promote the library and all it has to offer at our assisted living center.
3. Do a preschool story time up at the school along with having one at the branch.
4. Have monthly storytime themes and crafts.
5. Have lists of cool internet sites for kids (homework helps, how things work, crafts, experiments, etc.)
6. Overlap my library services with my volunteer work here in town.
7. Increase the amount of volunteers we have for the library.

So, what do you think???
