First of all, thank you all so much for your encouragement, prayers, support and love. It really helped get me through the whole thing.
On the way into my interview I ran into a lady who has just retired from teaching for years in the next town over and found out that she is also being interviewed for the position. That made me a bit nervous since she was an English teacher. From what I gathered, it is between her and I for the position. She would also do a wonderful job at it.
The interview itself went well. I really think that my enthusiam for the job, my community and the people in it came through. They seemed impressed that I really wanted to work with the public school and the daycares in town for the children's reading program and that I also wanted to reach out to the senior citizens and start some new programs for them. I don't think that they had ever really thought about doing a special program for the seniors. Anyway, the interview and testing went well and from what I heard from the breakroom next to the meeting room as they left me to do a test, it sounds encouraging. :) It's all in God's hands now and I'll hear by the end of the week if I have it or not.
Again, thank you all so much!!!! :grouphug:
