I've been wanting to try this. Is it any good?

As someone who has been drinking Mountain Dew daily for about ten years now (except when I was pregnant!), I just want to say that I'm not sure why they feel the need to keep messing around with other formulas when the original is great. I've cut down on my Mountain Dew consumption lately, but only because I have replaced it with iced coffee. Think I need a little more caffeine in my life? LOL! :toothy:

I didn't care for Code Red, or the orange one, either.

That said, I'll probably try the Pitch Black soon. :D


Oh, and Taco Bell has a special Mountain Dew right now that's supposed to be more lime flavored-- I haven't tried it, either, but I probably will.

The kids tried pitch black today...... They liked it, they said it was grape flavored.....
dd tried the Baja one at Taco Bell.. She liked it but liked the grape one better ......
I can't drink any of them, just too sweet for me....... (soory Amy....lol )

I had this today and I really liked it. I like Mt. Dew and grape soda so I was a willing soul.

The Baja Blast from Taco Bell is AWESOME!!!!!!

I don't like Mt. Dew - never have, but that Baja Blast stuff is just the bomb!!

Never been a fan of Mnt Dew, but the live wire wasn't half bad. I love grape sodas and grape juice so I was tempted to buy one the other day but didn't.

I love Mountain Dew, but don't like anthing but the original. But move over Chelle...'cuz I must have been living under the rock with you-I have never heard of Pitch Black MNontuain Dew :toothy:

It must be a regional thing because I have not heard of it or seen it in this area at all!

It say's its only avaliable thru Halloween. Wonder if they will bring it back like they did Live Wire. It was only suppose to be around thru the summer.

I guess I was living in the rock next to Chelle...never heard of it.

I didn't care for the live wire or code red..Ash loved them though!

Just saw this one yesterday but didn't give it a try yet. Looked weird! and I wasn't in a brave mood.

i can NOT drink regular mt. dew, but it is hubby's coffee!:toothy: i think it is waaaaaaayyyyyy tooooo syrupy(sp)!!!!! i did however think the live wire was pretty good, kinda like a sweeter sunkist. the code red is pretty good too, especially frozen!!!:D i have never heard of the "pitch black" either.;)

My son got one yesterday, and he loved it. I was not brave enough to try it. Maybe I should have.

I haven't tried the pitch black or the Taco Bell one yet. I like the original and code red, but I really couldn't get into the orange one. It was wayyyy too sweet for me! :eek:

Darn, I guess I have been hanging out under the rock too. I have not seen any of them except for the regular and the code red. I love Mountain Dew so I will try them all as I find them. I love grape, it is my favorite flavor so I can not wait to try the grape Mountain Dew.
