Letting others make financial decisions-- I did this with dh for a bit. That's partically how we ended up in such a mess. He'd take money that was supposed to pay the bills and use it for entertainiment, eating out- whatever!

Now we make joint decisions, the bills are paid, and we're both happier in the long run.

I thought you were going to say. It's because we let our Dh go to the store with us.. I swear every time he goes to the store with me it cost so much more......... That & he's like I didn't know it cost so much. I just tell him. Wellllllll the next time I go to the store you can tag along....... which in the end cost me more money...:bang:

My dh goes to the store with me about once every six months. He thinks you are just supposed to go down each isle and pick out what you want just like a little kid, lol. Just glad he doesn't go shopping with me every week.:cool:
