Tomorrow I start working and I think its something I might really like doing. I think I'm scared - I haven't worked in twelve years- tomorrow I go to work as a lunchroom lady. It will be awesome - I have the same hours as the kids (when I work - I'm a sub so I am oncall) and I will get to see them - But suddenly I am scared - all I have done is housekeeping for twelve years_ its gonna be really weird!! I wish I didn't have to work but I guess we all wish that...

I'm not understanding the title of your thread and maybe because it's so early in the morning but I think you should be so excited to have this new job. It sounds perfect for your situation with your kids!! :D Have a good first day and let us know how it goes!! :D :D

Kimmee, Well, it's not extly the same thing, but I went back to school yesterday (I'm an 8th grade Social Studies teacher) after being on maternity leave since February AND leaving my old school district after 9 years to move to one closer to home. Very nervewracking. My face has been broken out for days because I've been so nervous about it. Yesterday and today are just teacher days with workshops and meetings, but tomorrow the kids report. So, I hear ya! I'm sure you'll be great. :D
