DH needs me to work a full time job...In lew of that 2 pt jobs...ugh...I don't want to!

But...I put in the ap's. Now I start at Sheetz Monday, 1pm. I will do what it takes and smile.

BTW...today is our 3rd anniversary and I won't get to see him because we both work conflicting shifts. All I want to do is cry. DH is going to see about a home equity loan to consolidate our bills. He can't handle them on his own.

Gotta go...need to get ready for big K.

Convenience Store/ Gas Station...The people seem real nice and my personel mgr from Big K is working pt there too...We'll see!

I rarely get to see my DH. We have worked opposite shifts since dd was born (8 years now). There have been many birthdays and anniversaries we have not been able to celebrate together. I leave for work THE MINUTE HE GETS HOME. We have one car, and just enough time for him to reach home at the end of his shift in time for me to leave. If he is running late at all, then I am late. We work at the same place, so they are pretty understanding of our situation.

You ladies are sooooo sweet! Sry I haven't been around, but Big K has kept me busy and I started at Sheetz today...

Mostly paperwork and some preliminary training. So far so good...let ya know as the days go by.

The one thing that may cause problems is they (most of them)smoke and the breakroom is open in the back where I may have to work.

I am still smoke free and determined to stay that way!

I told the mgr today that I had quit smoking in Jan and that being around smoke might cause problems...I said it nicely and that I understood because I know how hard it is for smokers. I'm a reformed smoker but I'm not a BITCHY reformed smoker...sorry for the language.

Any way...I'll keep ya posted and thanks for the new forum! Wonderful idea!
