Does anyone know what it's about? There's no summary on Amazon yet--I wonder if it will be completely new or have parts of the other TGs in it.

I would buy it if I was you. I love the complete tw gazette. It has really helped me in the past and when I followed a lot of her teaching I saved a ton! I wouldn't go as far as her but she has a lot of wonderful ideas. $$$$$

I just recently (finally!) purchased The Complete Tightwad Gazette at Sam's because they had the hardcover version for $9.99. I have always checked it out of the library periodically before purchasing it. I think it's a great resource to have on hand to refer to over and over and over, especially when you are feeling uninspired.

I am interested to find out more about this new book that will be coming out.

Oh Pumkinnoodlie, I just bought the little house series. I have always wanted it since I was little. They are great books! I didn't know the book called "farmer boy" was about Almanzo. I am now reading the fourth book and enjoying everyone.

Oh man, ANOTHER book I must have???!!! As a major bibliophile, you have NO idea how badly I want more books. I am like an alcoholic in a liquor store when I go into a book store (and one of the largest new/used bok store in the U.S. is only 30 minutes from here!). Also, I an Amy fan from waaaay back, so I will have to add this to my collection too.

Sorry to dis-appoint you ladies, but, on another board [where folks were discussing whether this is new info] A libraian got access to a card file & she says its the same thing rehashed.

What other board? I would like to read the thread. I hadn't heard of it being a rebundled version. I would like to know this is fact before I get disappointed. How did she get a card file when it's not even been released yet?

Thanks for posting the pic of Amy D's house. It is beautiful! That is quite a payoff for all her years of frugality. If I remember correctly, the house came with several acres. A house that nice with acreage would cost somewhere around $400,000 here. Way to go, Amy!!

Golly..why is it (ok..maybe my frugal mind?) that the first thing I think is: What are her utilities costing her?? LOL!

It *is* a beautiful house. I'm a little surprised though...with all her gardening skills..and skills in general...at her choice of landscaping (or lack of, I guess). Would have thought that green thumb of hers would have made quite an impact. Then again...I'm in the middle of landscaping..so maybe I'm just noticing others more right now.

Nonetheless, it sure is a gorgeous house!

smnoel, where did you find those pics? I've done many searches on the web for stuff about her and I never found anything.

I thought the new book would be more about big stuff like investing, homes, cars, etc.

I'm curious to know now.

I am now re-inspired by Amy! Her house is beautiful! I can only dream of a house like that someday.

It sure does help to actually see her and know she is a real person who did it!

It is also nice to know that most everyone on this site is a fan of hers and believes it can be done! :)
