Bleh, my OM pulls me aside today and says "you don't have to work tomorrow so don't bother coming in, and I hired someone so you can just go upstairs to the other office on Monday. I need your key and your hospital ID badge...."

WHA????????

So today was my last day, I was not expecting that, but whatever. I'm kinda po'd at the way it was handled, she was very curt and too the point, and this is the same someone who laid me off from my last job :bang: She definitely will never get a third chance with me, lol.

I was upset to leave my coworkers, cause some of them are just so cool, but I'll only be upstairs, and Meagan ( one of the dr's) is gonna call me to do lunch :) She's job hunting too, as are several of the other girls. I started a trend lol.

Anyway, I'm free to do my thing now, but I just wanted to vent. I start full-time on Tuesday. I'm happy, DH even said I've been in such a better mood since this all happened. :)

Congrats on your new position. You are right, the supervisior could have been way more tactful about it though.

Bittersweet. I just know you are going to love your new job, especially without that OM around. Sounds like others aren't too thrilled with working there either.
On to better things.:)

Had access to the office computers, huh? That's happened to me too. It's a security thing. Don't take it personally.

I don't think she handled it very professionally at all!

Good luck in your new job.
