Just curious how you like it. We don't have one. Not for lack of Gabe wanting one someday. lol
I just can't believe how much they cost. It just seems so insane to me.
We dont, but I dream about it. LOL

we just found out our big screen is junk today - we've had our eye on a Panasonic HD at Costco for awhile now and we have decided to go get it this weekend so I will let you know. Its a big one (56") and it is $1300 which is a killer deal for one.

We don't have one but doesn't the channel have to be in HD for the tv to show it as HD..??
WM has a REALLY cool plasma TV I would LOVE to have but it's *GULP* $3,000.Noway I can pay that for a tv.
We do need a larger tv due to my eyesight, we seen one at Best Buy we like.A Flat screen 36 inch Sony for about $500..oneday.....maybe oneday :)

I'm with you, Sara. It seems insane to me to pay lots of money for a TV! I mean, it's just a TELEVISION! We have a couple of good quality biggish TVs but there is no way I'd pay over a thousand dollars for one, let alone $5,000 - $10,000 that people pay here for a home theatre system. AND they buy it on their credit cards! Now that is insanity.

Well, Rob and I bought a big screen HDTV when we moved into the new house. We had been saving for it and took the plunge. (Bethany...we didn't spend $5,000-$10,000 for it though!) So, it's all paid for and didn't cause any debt. We bought it at Circuit City's Labor Day sale. Got a GREAT deal! Yes, you have to have an HDTV to get HD shows and there are special HD channels as well. For example, we get CBS on channel 2, but we get HDTV CBS on channel 702. My favorite channel is 713 which is PBS HDTV. They do special HD programming. It is absolutely breathtaking. it's usually specials about travel or stuff like that. The one they've been showing lately is Niagara Falls and it's gorgeous. It takes up the whole screen and is absolutely crystal clear. Rob enjoys it on Sundays for football and hockey. I love it for dvd's after the kids go to bed (which are always shown full screen, HD). We planned for it and bought it and paid it off immediately and have no regrets.
