It took a long time for this great weather to get here but I am loving it.

It's gone now!!! Our house was freezing this morning. I'm sitting here with a sweater on and I can't warm up for the life of me. I want summer back!:(

Same here in Broome county! It was summer 2 days ago then the rain came and now it is downright chilly!

We're going to Denver tonight for ten days. So last night I was out in the dark harvesting my basil and tomatoes. I figure we'll probably get a hard frost while I'm gone and I didn't want to lose everything. I think the neighbors probably think I'm crazy now. I'm always out there in the dark doing something to the garden. :D I hope my basil cuttings root while I'm gone and don't dry out. Now I have more basil than I will ever know what to do with. I froze half and dried the other half. Looks like I'll have to make some pesto!

I heard it's supposed to be 75 tomorrow here?? Figures, I'll be gone and it'll be nice here.

It has been beautiful here in North Texas. It has been perfect weather, cool in the evening and warm during the day, lots of sunshine and beautiful fluffy white clouds floating around. The trees are starting to turn and the entire countryside is just lovely.

It sounds lovely Kathy. I wasn't aware that northern Texas had changing seasons. I guess I just assumed that the whole state much scorch year-round!:cool:
