Oh the list is LONG!!
Now that fall is here we're moving our attention to the indoors.

Paint the kitchen (I keep changing my mind on color!)
Tile the foyer
Finish the tile countertop.

We are - were doing:

~in a couple weeks we will be insulating the last room in our home (other than our bathroom). It will mean stripping plaster and lathe, then making 6 inch walls, insulating and then putting up gyproc.
~I have the wallpaper to do my kitchen.
~we need to purchase some wainscotting for the kitchen as well.

~the next project after these 2, will be painting/wallpapering the 2 bedrooms upstairs.

I think thats all will get done for the fall/winter months.

We are in a constant state of projects here..........

~finishing up ds's room......we painted, put up wainscoating and dh is building and installing a closet organzier, window seat and desk.

~paint our room, taking out shower in our master bath.....tiny room with no ventilation so we are constantly dealing with mold.....making garden tub in our bathroom into a double shower and replacing lighting and sinks/counters.

~kitchen......total redo.....cabinets, counters and lighting.

~wood flooring throughout downstairs.....new carpet installed upstairs.

~backyard......total redo here too, dh is installing gas line, and water lines now......lots to be done!!!!!

There are many other projects but these are the ones we are really focusing on and hoping to have completed by the spring!!!

:grnwave: Ugh....and I'm about tired of them for the time being.
Presently:

All contents of the master suite are spread throughout my house (what a huge mess!).
The mess won't even be touched until after Wednesday when I get new carpet in the master bedroom.
After that I'll do the fun stuff of decorating and arranging (I love that part!).
Next I'll work on some furniture refinishing for a spare bedroom or 2.
Will have carpet laid in the other 3 bedrooms (bought 2 remnants that will do all 4 for 1/2 the price of buying off a roll...it's what I want for the rest of what we'll carpet as well).
Later on I'll start working on painting the insides of my kitchen cabinets. We're going to re-do the kitchen/dining and living room after the first of the year. This would give me a bit of a jump start.
Oh my, lots and lots still to do.......:bolt:

geez - our house is an improvement project !! Right now we are concentrating on gutters and sealing off the unfinished rooms in the basement . Next we will be getting a Trane whole house heater and then we need to work some more on the pasture fencing. We thought we planted a money tree out back but there is nothing left in the tree cage we put around it - so I guess that good for nothing horse is going to have to start "processing" that expensive  hay into cash...

Does a whole house remodel count?

We had hoped to have the kitchen remodeled by Thanksgiving. We haven't even started on the kitchen and dh will be building all the cabinets himself!

We started in the utility/laundry room. We've done so much in there already I couldn't list it all. Dh still has 2 shelving units to finish building, put into place, and stained, we need to figure out what kind of flooring we're going to do and have it done or do it ourselves, dh needs to finish making the cabinet doors for the upper and lower cabinets and install them, we need to fix the door casings, and I'm sure there's much more.

We want to have all the windows replaced and are now waiting until hurricane season is over to do that so that puts that project into December at the earliest. There's no point in getting drastic with the kitchen until the windows are replaced (since that will affect the kitchen). Both bathrooms desperately need to be remodeled as do all the bedrooms, the flooring in the entire house, and the list goes on and on and on.............

He he!!!! For our entire married life(16years) we have been in a state of home renovations:bang: .......Right now dh is painting the kitchen cabinets and we will be putting down a new floor and counter tops, appliances and tile backsplash....we got an island for the kitchen and it is sitting behind me here in the family room with the new microwave, sink and faucet on top of it......
Dh just finished putting down pergo floors in the living and dining rooms and also stripping wallpaper and painting both rooms...

he also has the foyer to paint, put down new floor , and a ton of other little finishing projects.....not to mention he never got the outside work done from spring:bang: ...The poor guy...he won't let me help(can't say as I blame him:toothy: I'm not to handy)he busts his rear 9 hours every day at work and then busts it at home every night and all weekend....when this is done he is taking a very long break from home improvements!!!!!

We have to redo the floors in the kitchen and dining room, all the rain has caused them to warp!!!
Then we get started on the media room, new carpet, paint and a sleeper sofa (queen) as well as a sleeper chair (twin).
DS's bathroom - taking out the current tub / shower and replacing it with new.
Gutters, finish the building, new sunroom (later) new deck. and patio in the back yard.

We have been working on our bathroom for the last 2 months (new 9 jet whirlpool tub), new tile, new sink, new flooring and new color.

Next will be a new ceiling in the kitchen with recessed lighting, and getting rid of the ugly plastic drop ceiling

Taking up the whole first floor carpeting, and getting to the beautiful original oak flooring, removing the white paint off the original oak molding, stairs, and windows.

This weekend we started on putting new shingles on the roof. I live in a split level house so we have 3 sections. 2 of the 3 sections are done. I have so many projects I would love to do, but I just don't have the money to do it. The big projects would be new windows and new siding. Right now we have brown siding, and I would like to lighten it up. Most of the rooms need paint, and of course I need new carpet throughout. Who knows, maybe I will hit the lottery.

My main concern at this time is weatherization...I still have a gazillion windows to plastic and I need to make draft dodgers, too.

This summer we will finish painting the house...trim work and more caulking...

There's also a hornet nest we need to exterminate...not pretty.

Then we'll work on the basement and garage...never ending...Almost forgot...need to treat the deck...ugh!
