I just wanted to encourage you all to keep your eyes open for clearance prices on canning supplies. I've been finding lots of the lids, pectin and spices on sale. Still waiting for them to clearance price the jars. Think about all those lovely gifts in a jar you can make with those sale priced jars!!!!!:D

Big Lots is about 1 1/2 hours from me. Last itme I checked they were already sold out of the canning jars. I'm so glad you found a great deal there though!!!!

oh thanks for teh heads up on big lots. i'll have to stop over there tomorrow and see if the one by me has any.
