I just got this great tip:

When running the water for warm water for a bath or to wash dishes collect the cool water in a little bucket and use it to feed the animals or water the plants. It really adds up!

That is a great tip. I try to fill up empty juice containers as well and save them for later when I am trying to get the water in the kitchen warm (one in the fridge for ice water, and the others for plants and animals)
