Ever have one of those days where you really don't want to go to work? I have a busy day ahead of me with 2 children's programs, a new volunteer coming in and a whole library to reorganize. I enjoy my job and the people (well, most of the people anyway;) ) but I am just so unmotivated today. I'd much rather stay here at home with my kids and spend some time with them.

Yes, I do Debbie. Today as a matter of fact. It is cold rainy and Alex's birthday and I would have liked to have done something together just the two of us.

The morning went well. Very busy and I had a great time with some of my favorite little people who came for storytime.:D My supervisor made a surprise visit and I was so happy to see her. She told me it was ok for me to not allow the "naughty" kids to come to the afterschool program today :yippee: ! My volunteer and I spent the better part of the morning cleaning up the mess that those naughty kids made the other day.

This afternoon I have the afterschool program. We are making spiderwebs with spiders in the middle. Not my favorite craft (I hate spiders), but the kids seem to love it!;) I also have my Thankful Tree to make, the Christmas books and video display to set up and I have a wonderful new volunteer coming in today for the first time to train.
