I have been using vinegar, water, and baking soda lately, but I find that sometimes it's just not strong enough to clean quickly and effectively the first time around.

What do you use and for which projects?

Watered down Murphy's Oil Soap for my woodwork-leaves it clean but not slick.
409 on my stove, the stove is from 1940 and If I spray 409 do the dishes, come back and wipe just about any mess comes up and doesnt leave a residue
Clorox cling on toilet bowl inside-put it in, go to bed am flush=clean
Soft Scrub w/bleach on tub.
Just about any diluted disinfectant type cleaner for kitchen and bath, floors, sinks etc.

Cleaner I use are all made- I hope that's good. All purpose cleaner- I mix ammonia, some dish soap, borax & washing soda, vinegar with water in a spray bottle.

wipe cleaner- I use Mr. clean & water & half roll of paper towel, or use the above one, put all in plastic container with lid.

laundry I make my own soap, I put in gallon milk jugs.

Softner for the clothes I will buy liquid softner, put half water & half softner in spray bottle & when I throw my clothes in the dryer, I just spray some on them & turn it on.

Automatic dish washer, I use laundry soap that I made with some bleach in it. I put this in a syrup bottle.

wipe for face or hands-I use little shampoo & some baby lotion & water with a half a roll of paper towels in a plastic container with a lid.

I use scrubbing bubbles in the bathroom and Tide for laundry. Everything else it vinegar, baking soda and dish soap.

I am life long pine-sol user. My mother used it and I just associate the smell of it with "clean" I mop with it and use it to clean woodwork. I use orange cleaner for countertops and bathroom fixtures.

I am addicted to the Clorox wipes or the Lysol wipes. I try not to use them, but I keep thinking things just aren't as clean without them. It's insane, I know, but I'm hooked!

I use comet or bleach for the toilets and also Tylex Tub and Tile for the sinks and tubs. I found that KaBoom cleaner that I've seen advertised and it really DOES take off the soap scum and hard water stains with a spray and a wipe. I love that!

I love Greased Lightning. I'm not sure if it's available nationally, yet. It's the best stuff I've ever used.

I make almost all of my cleaners now. I bought the book "Clean House, Clean Planet" and get my recipes from there. I wanted to use baby-friendly stuff. I mostly use things like vinegar, baking soda, club soda, essential oils, and liquid soap.

Clorox Clean-up for the kitchen & bathroom-- I feel like it's gotta be bleached to be really clean. And I keep a container of the Clorox wipes in the guest bathroom for quick clean-ups when company arrives unexpectedly (which happens a lot since the baby's been born!). Clorox toilet bowl cleaner, too.

Orange Glo furniture polish-- I love that stuff! The scent is great, and I don't get that greasy trail that other furniture polishes leave behind.

I also buy orange Windex, and Orange Glo degreaser for the kitchen... trying to keep the cleaning product scents all the same!

For tub hard to get stuff (forgot the name of that junk!) I use brillo pads..

for sinks i use comet, and bleach in my kitchen one when it gets bad

For the floor i use lysol spray and a wet paper towel

For greasy messes I use the sprays like orange glo

For window's etc... i use my lysol spray

For that crud that just won't come off, I use CRL and it works wonders

I can get most of my cleaning products for almost free or better, so I have a good variety to choose from at not much cost.

I use scrubbing bubbles for the shower and tub, liquid comet for the sinks and countertops (bathroom only). Kitchen cabinets - watered down ammonia, stove top - 409. windows - glass plus or 409. I have been thinking that I need to cull down the use of so many products and start making a few homemade cleaning products, but I hate the smell of vinager and can't use it.
But I know I can cut something out. . . .
