When I was home this weekend, my mom and stepdad were talking about their check they got from Nationwide. Then my grandmother got one as well. I was wondering if Joe and I would get one after all the problems we had with them. Anyway's yesterday when I got home there in the mail box was a check from Nationwide. It was only about $25 but still, I wasn't expecting to get anything since we've been gone since the first of April.
Were any other states over charging their clients and sent them refunds as well?
Did anyone else in NC get one?

I think my mom and step dads was $80 and my grandmother got 40 or so back. It would be nice to get a $400 check in the mail especially with Christmas coming up.

Was it just NationWide that was overcharging or was it all Ins. Co.'s? I am still trying to figure that out myself.

We don't have Nationwide but a few years back we got a check from State Farm from them overcharging.
Wonder what makes a company overcharge?
Congrats on the check though Kat. $25 can buy some diapers and baby wipes :D

What's this refund all about? Anyone have any info on it?
We had Nationwide Ins. when we lived in NC from 1979 to 1988. Are they refunding from that time too?
