Ok, I just moved back home and called my former employer - I know that they're always short-handed and I need a job. I went in and spoke with the new manager who basically said he'd like to hire me, he just had to justify hiring someone to the company president who is on vacation this week, so hopefully I should hear something next week. All of my other former co-workers said they'd help me out and be persuasive as to why they need help. So I've got my fingers crossed! I'm really not that worried, just kind opf hoping that they'll hire me soon because DH and I just moved across the country and neither of us have jobs - that's a little scary.

So question - should I actively continue to look for another job or just maybe scan Monster.com a couple of times a week? Has anyone ever had experience with seasonal help in the malls?
