i loved that site sara. i breastfed madison till she was 14.5 months and morgan till he was 15.5 months.:toothy:

From the first time I learned I was pregnant I assisted to La Leche League meetings with Pierre. Then when Francois was born and all the others, I continued to go regularly to group meetings and there I recieved so much support and help for breastfeeding. I made many good freinds, too, along the way and 2 of which we have know each other since 16 years...:)

I also did some volunteering for them, after my 3rd child and animated meetings and helped many moms, with our hotline which was 24 hours a day...I woudl get an occasional phone call in the middle of the night of a mom who was in urgent need of support or advice...those first few days can be so difficult and trying...

I've even met one of the founders, Marian Thompson in a conferance we had in montreal! That woman is amazing!

Anyways...you can see how much I love this organization..lol...;)

I totally agree. I had a consultant that was awesome. She called me every couple of days, then once a week, and then once a month. She was so supportive and mailed me several pieces of information. I met her at the hospital and feel she was an important part of my success with bfing.
