I currently have Anthem Health Insurance at work but the insurance premiums are incredibly high. The office does pay for it however as part of my job perk. There is only me and 2 bosses. The other boss has his own insurance since he is partially retired. Both of the boss's families have some serious health problems. That being said, the office is considering changing to Southern Health Services. Anthem is going up 15% on our policy but we've had them for the entire 18 years I've worked here and it's what we are all used to.

Does anyone have any experience with Southern Health Services which is brokered by Gateway Health Alliance? We've analyzed the policy and had a meeting with the broker, but we still haven't decided what to do. There is an $800 per month difference between the policies and that is a significant amount.

We are not considering, nor will they, any other companies. It's one of these two.

Hopefully someone has some thoughts on Southern Health Services.

Glad I'm low person on the pole because I'd hate to make this decision on my own and screw up everyone's health insurance.

I have no advice as I am not familiar with either company. I pray that the right choice will be made though. I agree, I wouldn't want to have that responsibility either.....I would surely screw it up........:D
