ours went up by 25 dollars because the city board approved a rate increase on natural gas two months ago. they approved another increase last night I think to take effect sometime soon again. :(

It's amazing how all those little things, like turning off lights, really do add up. Great Job Tammy!

Great job on the bill....

My electric bill (which also includes water, sewer, and stormwater) for the past two months has been about 139.00... That is a dramatic drop since last year when we were already nearing 200.00 and by the time January came we were even higher.. My kids dress warmer and have a ton of blankets on the beds, so heat is off there.. Curtains are drawn until sun light is in, and all doors are shut and lights off when not in use. We have also switched to the new light bulbs that are more cost effective. I have seen a change with just doing that as well. I really hope that the prices stay down...
