if anyone has suggestions on storing the foods, pleas post that too, i'd love to know.

I froze it in ice cube trays and then popped anything that wasn't used in a day into ziplocs.

how long can it be stored in a ziplock (in the freezer), do you know? Did you ever add anything to your purees? Like maybe rice when baby was older or something like that?

Three months for veggies in a ziplock in the freezer-- I did mine the same way as Sara. I never added anything, just kept making it thicker and thicker puree (less liquid) as she got older. Once in a while I'd stir in some rice cereal if I'd gotten a batch too thin, but that was at serving time, not when freezing.
